Other Consultative Services

In addition to comprehensive evaluations, Dr. David Granovetter offers targeted consultation services to organizations, legal professionals, and healthcare leaders navigating practitioner impairment, professional well-being, and safety-sensitive roles.

These services do not involve treatment or formal diagnostic evaluations, but rather focus on helping stakeholders understand complex clinical, functional, and regulatory issues so they can make informed decisions.

Examples of Consultative Services Include:

  • Case Consultation for Well-being Committees, Physician Health Programs, Employers, or Professional Licensing Boards
Expert guidance in complex or ambiguous cases involving possible impairment, return-to-work considerations, or fitness-for-duty concerns.

  • Interpretation of Prior Evaluations or Other Reports
Objective review and explanation of previous assessment reports, treatment summaries, or collateral records to clarify clinical implications and functional relevance.

  • Recommendations for Independent Evaluators or Programs (treatment and monitoring)
Helping stakeholders identify appropriate, qualified evaluators or structured programs suited to the case at hand—especially in high-risk or sensitive situations.

  • Policy and Protocol Review
Advising medical groups, hospitals, or legal teams on best practices related to physician impairment policies, referral pathways, and confidentiality boundaries.

  • Education and Training
Presentations or workshops on topics such as:

    • Early identification of potentially impairing conditions

    • Constructive approaches to intervention

    • Balancing support and accountability

    • Building a culture of well-being and public protection
